Just playing around with Conversation Hearts, my macro lens, and tripod! Trying to work on my focus, depth of field and light all at the same time!
And I stuck with the theme, too... both vertical and horizontal shots!
1st pic: Aperture Priority mode. ISO 800, f/5.6, 1/125
2nd pic: AP mode. ISO 400, f/2.5, 1/500
3rd pic: AP mode, ISO 400, f/2.5, 1/500

You know...I was thinking about something. I'm not a selective color fan normally, but something about that first shot would make a good candidate for it. Having the whole pic BnW, except for one heart. What do you think?
I really like the 2nd shot, and I'm so glad you posted your settings. Can really see what a difference the aperture setting makes for the DOF. I like how the 2nd seems to be in focus more in the foreground as well, compared to the 3rd vertical photo, which is less in focus in the foreground.

Very cool. You do realize that you can recycle the 2nd and 3rd and use them for the "Love" challenge, right? LOL. Love the colors in these.
