We had a little family photo shoot last night. The purpose was to get a great shot to be printed on canvas. I wanted the focus to be on my daughter and the photo to be cropped around my and hubby's waists. But when this little gem popped up on my computer I just fell in love. I love the way she is looking at her daddy and the way we are smiling down at her. It just doesn't have the same feel when I crop it (plus she isn't as sharp as I would like, so cropping it just emphasizes that). The issue is hubby's hand holding the remote. How obvious is it? Any ideas on making it better? Is it canvas worthy? I would love to get feedback on this one. Oh, and color or b&w??? Thanks!! =)

I LOVE it! What if you cropped it vertically?? You could have the edges be your faces? Not sure how it would look but it's worth a shot! I think it's priceless and I didn't notice the remote.

I love how her red shirt just pops out and is a great focal point. I can't really tell your dh is holding the remote, it kind of looks like a stone that he might be teasing her with. My only concern about putting it on canvas is that your heads may be close to the top and get wrapped around the canvas frame a bit - but not sure. Nice shot!
Awwww, what an adorable family picture. There is something so sweet about Daddy and Daughter moments. Love it!

What a beautiful shot! I didn't even notice the remote until I looked for it. By making them both larger, the remote stands out more in the color one, but is still not noticeable until pointed out.

Another vote for the color, it just pops! I didn't notice the remote until you mentioned it. To avoid cropping heads in the wrap, make a border to give it a little more room. Make the border to end up being the sides of the wrap - the lab will explain how to do this. LOVE THIS PIC!

I vote for the color too! And the term canvas worthy makes me laugh because it makes me think of sponge worthy from Seinfeld.
